The immediate reaction of his sister was to upload a photo in which Víctor Guzmán and Javier el Chicharito Hernández appear, asking for help to recover the stolen wallet, since the visa of the youth team came there and without it he would not be able to participate in the World Cup of his category to be played in Florida, United States.

“I realized later that he had the visa. I said, ‘what am I going to do’. I went with my parents and we already started walking where the thieves escaped. We asked if they hadn’t thrown something, they told me yes, and there was my license, my Visa, my school ID, everything,” says Guzmán.

In Baja California, 21,000 crimes have been registered in the first three months of 2019, although the Xolos footballer had never been the victim of one. On their walk along the route that the criminals took to escape, they found the wallet, without money, but with their identification.

“This is the first time it has happened to me in public. Other times it happened because my dad has a grocery store and it was more common for them to be robbed there. Insecurity is not that it is serious there, it is normal, ”she recalls.

Víctor Guzmán found his documents to be able to travel to the United States and fight for a pass to the U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
