Dragan Stojković, Serbia’s coach at the 2022 World Cup

Stojkovic had an extensive playing career that spanned 20 years. in which he wore the jerseys of the Yugoslavian National Team, Radnicki Nis (Serbia), Belgrade Red Star, Olympique de Marseille, Hellas Verona and Japan’s Nagoya Grampus, where he hung up his boots.

After finishing his role as a manager in football, in 2008 he began his career as a coach at Nagoya Grampus.where he had retired. He was on the Japan team for five years and after being two without working, he took the reins of the Guangzhou of China.

After completing his stage in the eastern country, he was chosen to carry out the project in the Selection of his country. On March 3, 2021, his birthday, the official announcement was made. He has managed 18 games in which he has accumulated 11 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses (66.6% effectiveness).
