Numerical Calculus –

We can divide Mathematics into two parts, numerical calculation and algebraic calculation. Numerical calculation involves the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, power and root, involving real numbers. Calculations involving fractions are also addressed and explored in a complex way.
Algebraic calculation is directly linked to algebraic expressions, involving equations, inequalities and systems of equations. In it, all the fundamentals laid down in numerical calculation are used.
Some situations involving numerical calculation will be resolved, addressing the contents used in the demonstration.

Example 1

{35 – + 40}

We have a numerical expression involving addition, subtraction, division, and powers. In this case, we will first solve the powers and then, we must eliminate the symbols in order: parentheses, square brackets and braces.

{35 – + 40}
{35 – + 40}
{35 – + 40}
{35 – 13 +40}
62

Example 2

Don’t stop now… There’s more after the publicity 😉

Expression involving powers, multiplication, and a fraction. Solve powers, multiplications and reduce like terms.

Example 3

Simple situation involving a fraction that contains in the numerator, an addition of fractions and in the denominator, a multiplication of fractions.

Example 4

Pay attention to exponents with a negative value, when they appear we need to invert the base, removing the negative sign from the exponent. After this process, calculate the powers and first solve the multiplication calculation.

Example 5

Expression involving potentiation rules and radical reduction concepts.
